Joel Davis, Judah Skinner, and Miika Klein have been approved to go to Portland in August. PBC has completed its in-person element for this year, and one student has already received funding for a full year.

We are excited that our first two team members, Joel Seddon and Marcus Severin-Lelitte, will be starting in May. This marks one of the next major steps in the vision as the Kingdom Expansion team begins to take shape. As this develops, the aim is to help more people recognise, grow in, and step into the gifts and skills God has placed within them.

We have also invested in our environment. The coffee shop has recently been upgraded with a new counter, improvements to the back counter, and new tableware. These changes are helping us raise the standard of how we serve both the church and the wider community.

We recently had the privilege of hosting a Hope Huddersfield prayer gathering, where a number of churches from across the town came together to pray for Huddersfield. This was the first time we have hosted an event like this. It has already helped strengthen relationships with other churches and create new connections across the town.

Alpha in the Community is also now becoming a reality, and the first Alpha in the Community is already underway in Slaithwaite. Twenty people have already signed up, and this is also creating opportunities to build stronger relationships with The Ark Church in Slaithwaite.

How can I engage?
Kingdom Expansion is a response to what God is doing among us. It’s for the whole church, and for whole households. Here are three simple ways to be all in:
Build.
We need every member to give. Commit to invest your time, prayer and finances to support the vision and build His kingdom.
Dream.
Tell us the dreams, skills, and ideas God has placed in your heart to help expand His Kingdom.
Go.
Who will you share Jesus with, and where will you start? Connect with someone over a coffee or a simple act of kindness.
Now is the time.
We can only do this together.
